2016 – 2017 Essential Learning Questions
These are all the questions our students will be able to answer by the end of the year!
EL #1: Standard: Inq 2 and Inq 3: Am I able to select the tools and procedures to conduct a scientific investigation?
EL #2: Standard: Inq 4, and Inq. 5: Can I conduct a scientific investigation and correctly identify the controls and variables?
EL #3: Standard Inq. 1 and Inq 2: Can I successfully construct a prototype utilizing the engineering design process and describe how it meets the current needs of the population?
EL #4: Standard Inq 3 and Inq 4: Am I able to identify the difference between assistive and adaptive technology; and can I describe their intended benefits, as well as, unintended consequeneces?
EL #5: Standard 7.1: Can I use a chart or graph to identify the physical properties of minerals?
EL #6: Standard 7.2 and 7.3: What are the three different rock types, and how are each created through the basic steps of the rock cycle?
